A Letter from our Founder
I remember being a young player and hitting a true corner for the first time.
The sharp sound. The clean snap. The instant rush that shot straight through me because I knew I executed it perfectly.
That moment hooked me. I chased it every day. I wanted to repeat it, refine it, and build my entire game around that feeling. And it worked. The harder and more accurately I shot, the more the game gave back. That feedback loop became my driver, shaped me as a player, and stayed with me long after I left the field.
Years later, as a coach, I saw players struggling to find that same connection and coming up short. They worked hard. They took hundreds of reps with no clear target and no meaningful feedback. They weren’t getting the tools they needed to change everything about their game:
The sound. The feel. The confidence. The moments that accelerate real development.
That was the turning point. If the right tool didn’t exist, I had to build it myself.
Cheddy Chain takes that unforgettable feeling and elevates it. It gives players a true scoring target they can see, hear, and trust. Tough steel. A real zone. A response that tells the truth. It transforms random shooting into structured shooting. It gives players a standard to chase and instant feedback on whether the rep earned anything.
More than anything, it helps players become finishers. The ones who bury shots in tight windows. The ones who change games.
Cheddy Chain teaches by giving immediate, meaningful feedback on accuracy, power, release, and mechanics. When a player hits the target, they know it. When they miss, they know why. That instant reward accelerates learning and builds confidence fast. It brings intention to every rep and makes players hungry for the next one.
The future of lacrosse is precision-based training. Tools that mirror game situations, measure performance, and help players master skills that actually matter. Cheddy Chain will lead that shift. This target is just the beginning. We are building an ecosystem for the next generation of shooters. Smarter targets. Advanced feedback systems. Training programs built around the same principles that shaped me as a player.
Lacrosse needs a shooting target that teaches. Something durable. Something honest. Something that creates the moment a young player never forgets. Whether you’re grinding
